Panasonic TC-P50S1

Merry Christmas all !

My 2009 Plasma tv, Panasonic TC-P50S1 went dark on me this past Sunday evening. A loud pop was heard just before the screen turned black. I have done a goggle search and found some information. I am getting the "seven blinks of death". Has anyone else had this happen ? I would like to repair this set. I really like the display, even at 720p. And of course, I'd like to do it as inexpensively as possible. It looks pretty much like "plug-n-play. So, I should be able to do the repairs on my own. The search results tells me it could be one of several boards. Which board is it likely to be ? There were no lightening storms that evening. No black out. No power surges, as far as I know. I suspect enough dust was collected to form a bridge on one of the boards. I haven't taken the back off yet. I want to collect as much useful information as I could, before tackling this job. Advice would be appreciated.
