Sorry for the late reply, but in case you were still curious:
The main issues I have with it is the PQ when the material is in darker scenes, which is a lot. Dithering/noise is high, color fidelity drops and posterization is bad. Plasma is generally so good at conveying the filmmakers intentions and showing off the desired "look"...this goes out the window when the light levels drop on this tv. Everything looks muddy and dull.
Posterization is really bad on streaming content. Watching the new Godzilla movie, a dark film, over streaming was really bad.
It's not just streaming though, because OTA material has some of these issues as well. Though a lot of OTA is 720p, so maybe this factors in as well.
I haven't had much chance to watch Blu-Ray, so I can't quite isolate this to just being the tv being poor at anything less than Blu-Ray or not. Unfortunately it doesn't really matter though, because in practical terms I stream and watch OTA as well, so need it to shine there as well.
Motion blurring is bad as well. The strength of plasma supposedly and Panny makes a model at the height of Plasma's power with poor motion?
It's really frustrating because when light levels come up, the picture is awesome!
Who knows, maybe I have a dud, people rave about it, but in my experience people aren't all the perceptive in general. Not trying to be a snob, but that's often the case. A lot of people can't tell the difference between LCD and Plasma and there are mentions of the noise/dithering issues with the tv. Posterization and motion as well.
