Anamorphic coated glass prisms half price

Large anamorphic coated glass prisms half price today (Friday) and tomorrow at SurplusShed. These are the French Prisms referred to in the DIY Constant Height forum. I used them to make my own anamorphic lens and have been very satisfied with their performance. Note these won't work with a short throw projector (generally anything less than 1.4 ratio).

Photo of DIY anamorphic lens

Here is a photo of my DIY lens on a drawer slide in front of my Viewsonic projector. It works well and I am happy with it. I don't have a building guide but if you look in the Constant Image Height forum under DIY you will see what others have done.
